Trespassing – Your chimney, time unknown
This is allot of crime, what the heck are our esteemed District and BoS leadership doing to bring these incidents down to a reasonable level. I suspect NOTHING?
I wonder what constitures a “simple assault.”
At the most recent Mason CAC meeting (1st Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the police station) the question of aggravated vs. simple assault came up. According to https://www.manassaslaw.com: “aggravated assault as an unlawful attack by one person upon another for the purpose of inflicting severe or aggravated bodily injury. Usually accompanied by the use of a weapon or by means likely to produce death or great bodily harm.” Captain Adcock explained that a simple assault could be pushing or shoving someone else, it does not need to inflict serious harm. The CAC meetings allow time for residents to ask questions/get more details about recent crimes in the area.
Credit to ON-Annandale they typed this first I just copied it here to answer your question
theres been a string of shootings recently, one on the 22nd, the 27th, and the 30th
How are local officials addressing this crime spree? Building playgrounds, changing building codes to allow overcrowding into former stable residential neighborhoods, holding a concert series… I’d say their focus is all wrong. The whole county board and corrupt county staff should be thrown out.
