Pick up a free backpack at Wireless Zone

Families are invited to pick up a free backpack full of school supplies at Wireless Zone and TCC stores on Sunday, July 31.

That includes the Wireless Zone at 7301 Little River Turnpike in Annandale. The giveaways will take place 1-4 p.m. on a first-come-first-served basis while supplies last.

The backpack program is sponsored by Round Room LLC, the nation’s largest authorized Verizon retailer.

Students in grades K-12 can also enter sweepstakes where they could win a $10,000 college scholarship through the School Rocks Backpack Giveaway’s Big Impact program. Round Room will award five scholarships nationwide to randomly selected winners.
