Woman assaulted on Fastran bus
Fairfax County Police detectives are investigation allegations of sexual assault made by a 79-year-old woman against the driver of a Fastran bus. The driver was immediately suspended from his contracted position with the company that operates Fastran for the county.
The victim alleges she was assaulted in early May by the suspect while she was on a Fastran bus in the Lincolnia area. She did not require medical attention. During a preliminary investigation the victim revealed she had been assaulted by the same suspect on more than one occasion.
Fastran offers specialized transportation services for residents of Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church who need rides for critical medical care or who participate in eligible human service agency programs.
