A vape shop with a twist is coming to Annandale
Can Annandale handle another vape shop?
Apparently, it can. The Hidden Cloud Smoke Shop is coming to 7031 Little River Turnpike, unit 11-B, in Great World Plaza. They’re aiming for an April 1 opening.
This one will be a little different. According to the company’s Instagram, the shop will sell anime, videogame merchandise, and “exotic snacks and drinks from all over the world,” as well as vaping and smoking supplies. It’s also not part of a chain.

So it’s a smoking shop that features video games, comic books, and junk snacks and sodas. A smoke shop for children, in other words.

Not true, me and all my friends go to smoke & vapor planet for all our needs! The dude there is super chill, he’s given me the best service I’ve ever experienced from a smoke shop. Would doubt he gave bad service, he’s more knowledgable than any other employee I’ve ever been served by at any other store
The whole time I stowed away on that Chinese spy balloon, I was hoping they’d shoot it down in the vicinity of Smoke & Vapor Planet so I could experience their wonderful customer service and selection. I swam here as fast as I could.
I swam next door to Smoke & Vapor Planet for my life after I saw Hidden cloud had 5% of the inventory Smoke & Vapor Planet has and super expensive prices 🤣🤣🤣 The service at Hidden Cloud was horrible and they didn’t bother to ID me. Selection was/is non-existent at Hidden Cloud. Owner will probably resort to selling weed undercover in the store in 2 weeks. Anyone can call their store a smoke shop, but is it really one because this isn’t even close to a real smoke shop 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

This seems like a cursed space even though it’s in a great location. Wasn’t there a tobacco shop right next door? We lost Flippin Pizza & Granddaddy’s Skillet, R.I.P. to both. But who knows? Like we’re the go-to place for Korean BBQ and K-beauty, maybe folks will come from all over for our profusion of vape shops and spend their money here..
Hidden Cloud looks like a horrible addition to the community! Marketing to children offering snacks, cartoons, and tobacco with this product offering. Mind you, anime cartoons are on children cartoon channels internationally, especially in Korea. Plus, isn’t there is an Anime store called Lil Thingamajigs in that plaza? And a gaming center? How original is it to combine elements of every business next door into your own business? Questions I ask myself when I think of this business bringing zero value to the community in my opinion.
