Annandale High School reunion planned for classes of 1970-77
The Annandale High School Class of 1973 is hosting a multi-class
reunion for people who graduated in 1970-77 July 26 and 27 at the Doubletree hotel
at Dulles Airport (21611 Atlantic Blvd., Sterling).
The cost is $73 per person, which includes a beer/burger night hosted
by a classmate in Herndon (five minutes from the hotel) on Friday night and a
buffet dinner with a DJ and the band Power Play on Saturday night.

When asked what was memorable about AHS during that period, Chandler said the movie “Remember the Titans” is in error. The classes of 72-74 Annandale Atoms football team played the championship game in 1971 and had the bruises and concussions to prove it. Annandale won the state championship the next year, 1972.
