Bailey’s ES lunch lady arrested for embezzlement

A Fairfax County Public Schools employee, Fadwa Sarsaur, 51, was arrested for embezzling money from student lunch accounts at Bailey’s Elementary School, at 6111 Knollwood Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads.
Fairfax County Police detectives began an investigation on June 16 after staff in the FCPS Office of Food and Nutrition Services discovered discrepancies in accounting records and notified the school system’s Internal Investigations Section, who in turn contacted FCPD.
Further investigation revealed that for over a period of three years the suspect allegedly took a large sum of money from several different lunch accounts.
Detectives from the Financial Crimes Section obtained warrants for three counts of embezzlement for Sarsaur, of Alexandria, and she turned herself in at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center shortly after 1 p.m. on June 24.
Another stella citizen in the dump. Im certain there is a school in Syria that can use her expertise.
Everyone is innocent until proving guilty by the court of law. This is America so, lets not over react and give this lady her due process.
Stealing from poor families. Literally stealing food out of poor kids' mouths. The lowest of the low.
