Bank robbery in Bailey’s Crossroads
The Sun Trust Bank inside the Safeway at
Crossroads Center in Bailey’s Crossroads was robbed on Aug. 9, the Fairfax
County Police Department reports. A man entered at 2:18 p.m. and passed a note
to an employee demanding money and implying that he had a weapon.

The suspect
took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as a
black male in his 30s, about 6 feet to 6 feet 4 inches tall.
On Aug. 8, there was a robbery on the 3200
block of Allen Street, Falls Church, near the Thomas Jefferson Library. A man
was walking when he was approached by three men in a vehicle. Two of the men
assaulted the him, took his property, then fled. The victim suffered non-life-threatening
injuries. The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, and about 5 feet 11
inches tall.

Why are you reporting the alleged race of the alleged criminals? Are you intending to continue the sterotyping of African-Americans as criminals? Please stop doing this; in this case informing the public is trumpt by maintaining the excellent state of race relations established by our "historic" President. Don't give up on "Hope and Change."
We shouldn't swap accuracy and truth for political correctness.
It's about trying to locate a suspect, not making a statement about race and crime.
