The George Mason Friends will host their semi-annual four-day book sale at George Mason Regional Library April 23-26.
The sale will be open 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. daily at the library, 7001 Little River Turnpike, Annandale.Â
There will be a preview sale on Wednesday, April 22, 6-8 p.m., for a $20 entrance fee.
“With thousands of items to choose from, you are sure to find what you are looking for and more,” says Gloria Orr of the George Mason Friends. “The sale offers a great selection of high-quality hardback and paperback books in a wide variety of subjects.”

“For young readers, the sale features an entire room dedicated to children’s titles, sorted by subject and reading level. There are great resources for older students looking for classics, reference works, and language study materials,” Orr says.
For those searching for affordable gifts, the sale offers beautiful books in great condition on cooking, travel, sports, health, art, and much more. There will also be a large selection of CDs and DVDs, as well as comic books and graphic novels.
Fine art, rare books, and children’s pop-up books available for sale are displayed in the glass cases in the library lobby.
“Come early for the best selection, then come back on Sunday for half-price bargains,” Orr says.
Proceeds from the book sale support the Fairfax County Summer Reading Program, Library Foundation scholarships, the Fall for the Book Festival, and library programs at George Mason Regional Library.
