BC7RC is also planning
several activities for next spring, Vorona said, including a cleanup near the
Seven Corners Shopping Center, landscaping enhancements in the commercial area
near the Seven Corners intersection, and a recognition program for business and
residential communities that maintain particularly attractive properties. Additional plans under consideration include a Neighborhood Watch
program and local art for the pedestrian bridge over Route 50.

NEPP-funded
projects require a one-to-match of funds, materials, and/or volunteer time. BC7RC
appreciates the support already committed by Public House No. 7, the Home Depot in the Seven Corners Shopping Center,
and the Sears on Route 7, Vorona said. Additional donations are needed, however, including bottled water, breakfast snacks, and a sandwich lunch for the cleanup
volunteers. If you or your organization would like to contribute or join the
cleanup, contact Nancy Vorona.
