  1. Every normal human being at 2am : Asleep
Baily Crossroad's woman: Getting shot in a drive-by.

I love living in this normal community.

  2. Here is the actual story – Just your typical wholesome Sunday gang war – NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS

"The suspects were chasing and shooting at each other from vehicles in a densely populated area along Seminary Road, between Center Lane and Carlin Springs Road, around 2:20 a.m., Fairfax County police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.

A woman in a third vehicle, who was unaffiliated with either of the vehicles involved in the dispute, was struck by a bullet, he said. The woman was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was expected to survive, Guglielmi said.

The suspects remain at large, and police do not have a good description of them or their vehicles, but are canvassing the area for available surveillance video, he said."

    1. I still do not see my questions answered, although this is my third time asking. What are the FFX police and Penny Gross going to do about this ongoing violence in Mason. We want answers. I don't want to be coming home late some night and be in the crossfire of gang members shooting at each other. This is what DC use to be like and I moved here only to have this violence follow me.

    2. Expect nothing. Sort of like how Trump is dealing with the Corona virus. Let everyone get immune to the current situation and for those who get sick or pass on……..oh well, that's life! In our case we keep finding bodies chopped up and buried in Holmes Run, murders in restaurants, hold ups in shopping center.

I'm not sure I can become immune to any of this. We should start writing the governor, Kaye Kory, our local US congressman and senators to let them know that the local leadership cannot put this situation in check and that the state should begin to intervene.

  3. PG and the FFPD will only act if the violence is in their back yard.
No, as the neighborhoods around the lake are gated and well protected,
NOTHING will be done to prevent such occurrences, nothing but making sure this does not leak to better places.

  4. I find it discouraging that the blog refuses to print my posts because my comments are bluntly honest. If that stray bullet had hit one of our local officials vehicles you can bet they would be taking immediate action. Instead we get silence opposed to their typical finger pointing, or better yet blaming VDOT.

Until they make a change regarding the over the top concentration of low income section 8 residents in Mason, this district's crime rate is going to continue to be a threat to every single one of us that live in Mason.
