Celebrity Delly is a finalist for best sandwich spot

Celebrity Delly, a restaurant at the Graham Park Plaza shopping center on Arlington Boulevard, is up for a RAMMY Award in the category “Hottest Sandwich Spot of the Year.”
It’s the only 2026 RAMMY finalist from the Annandale/Mason District area.
The annual RAMMY awards, sponsored by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, honor “the exceptional ability and accomplishments of the hard-working individuals and organizations in the D.C. region’s restaurant and food-service community.”
Awards for most of the categories – such as best fine dining restaurant of the year, best casual restaurant, best wine program, and chef of the year – are selected by a panel of judges.
The “Hottest Sandwich” award is one of five categories selected by popular vote.

Public voting begins April 20 on the NBC4 Washington website.
The sandwich category honors “a casual restaurant, quick-serve, or mobile food vendor with a menu dedicated to creative and delicious sandwiches that demonstrate excellence and skill.”
Popular sandwiches on Celebrity Delly’s menu include brisket cheesesteaks, Reubens with corned beef and pastrami, Italian subs, California clubs, French dips, and sliders.
Chuck Rossler founded the Celebrity Delly in 1975 with the goal of offering traditional Jewish delicatessen food with high-quality ingredients. The restaurant is currently run by his daughter Julie Rossler-Thompson and son-in-law William Thompson.

The RAMMY winners will be announced at a gala on June 29 at the Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater.
I vote for Celebrity Deli. They have the best sandwiches around. I’ve have been eating there since the early 90’s. Actually my job catered from them in 2025.
