Charleys brings cheesesteaks to Bailey’s Crossroads
Charleys Cheesesteaks opened Dec. 21 in Bailey’s Crossroads.
The fast casual restaurant is located at 3556-E S. Jefferson Street in the Crossroads Place Shopping Center.
The chain’s Philly cheesesteak has grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and provolone.

Other sandwiches feature chicken bacon chipotle, steak with Cheez Whiz sauce, steak with pepperoni, chicken teriyaki, and more. There are also wings, cheese fries, lemonade, and shakes.
Company founder Charley Shin opened his first restaurant, Charley’s Steakery, near Ohio State University in 1986. He started franchising in 1991. There are now more than 700 Charleys locations in the U.S. and 17 countries, including Springfield Town Center, Tysons Corners Center, and the Walmart at Kingstowne Center.
The Bailey’s Crossroads location is open 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
It’s next door to a future Dave’s Hot Chicken, which is expected to open in late January. Both restaurants are in a space that was formerly occupied by a Virginia ABC store.
