Commonwealth Brewing Co. will provide beer at the Taste of Annandale

The Annandale-Mason Roundtable is thrilled to announce that the Commonwealth Brewing Co. has been selected as the beer vendor at the Taste of Annandale on Sept. 21.

There will be three kinds of beer on tap – an American-style lager (Pool Noodle), a New England-style hazy IPA (Between the Sets), and Kooks IPA (Creamsicle) – plus a hard seltzer (Blue Lagoon) made with real fruit.

Patrons will be able to take their beverages anywhere at the Taste of Annandale; there won’t be a restricted beer-drinking area.

Commonwealth Brewing Co. was founded in Virginia Beach in 2015 and opened its Fairfax location, at 10426 Main St., a year ago.

The food menu features wood-fired pizza, wings, sandwiches, pretzels, and salads.

Commonwealth launched a coffee bar in August; it’s open daily at 8 a.m.

The bar hosts brunch with live music on Sundays, 10 a.m.-noon; GMU night on Thursdays; a running club; and a Harry Potter Festival in July, among other events.
