Construction underway on KPot restaurant in Seven Corners

Construction is finally underway on the KPot restaurant at 6249 Seven Corners Center. It’s located in the building that formerly housed Fortune restaurant. KPot is expected to open this winter. That’s a year and a half after anticipated, but then lots of projects were delayed due to the pandemic.
KPot is an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue and hot pot chain with several locations, mostly on the East Coast. The closest one is in Rockville, Md.
Honestly, after they built the HD there in 1997 with the parking garage and how crazy busy it gets, this stand alone building is really in an awkward location. It really should be removed.
