The following crimes reported by the Fairfax County Police Department happened within the jurisdiction of the Mason Police District:
A man crashed his car in the 4500 block of Braddock Road near Green Spring Gardens at about 6 p.m. on Jan. 4. after driving recklessly through a neighborhood.
The man ran away from his car, broke into a nearby home, and assaulted the homeowner. Officers arrested Kevin Rosales, 28, of Alexandria, and charged him with driving while intoxicated, destruction of property, trespassing, and assault.
A man sitting in his parked car in the 3600 block of Annandale Road in Annandale shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 was approached by two men with a gun. They took the victim’s money and phone, then drove away in another car.
There was a robbery and assault in the 3300 block of Gallows Road by Inova Fairfax Hospital shortly before 1 p.m. on Jan. 1. Three people assaulted a cab driver who was attempting to collect payment for a ride. They took the driver’s phone and ran away. The driver suffered minor injuries.
A man was stabbed during an argument with an acquaintance at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 2 in the 3900 block of Persimmon Drive in Fairfax. Officers arrested Adam Kedzie, 35, of Arlington, and charged him with malicious wounding. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Wasn't there just a felony committed in the 3600 block of Annandale Road a few months back?
