  1. “There was an assault by a mob on July 24 in the 7100 block of Little River Turnpike”
This is where the have side shows with 100+ souped up cars blasting rap, smoking weed, dancing on top of cars scantily clad, drinking beer in the parking lot. And the cops drive right by.

  2. 7100 Little River Turnpike is located right next to the U.S. Post Office located at 4270 John Marr Dr, Annandale, VA 22003.

I remember as a young child one of my Uncles and one of my Cousins were both employed by the USPS and they Loved (I mean truly Loved) to party. As a young child it made an impression on me that I recall decades later.

I would be surprised if it was some USPS employees blowing off some steam after work engaging in the fun partying behavior.

On the other other hand, the alleged assault by a mob is not consistent with the behaviors I recall from my youth. Perhaps the partying got out of hand.

And to those complaining about the cops driving by, based on the current anti-law enforcement culture I can’t blame them. If the cops attempt to intervene I would be surprised if they were not heavily criticized for doing so. After all, it was not that long ago on this very site that a commenter criticized a law enforcement officer for putting down a rabid

If the cops attempted to intervene I would be surprised if they were not heavily criticized for doing so. After all, recently on this very site a commenter criticized a law enforcement officer for putting down a rabid coyote coyote that bit three adults and two dogs and not the law enforcement officer.

As a side note, it’s possible the commenter who criticized the law enforcement officer for putting down the rabid coyote was being satirical. If so, they were very effective because many readers of the comments on this site, including myself, thought that the comment was serious, as reflected by several of the responses by fellow comments.
