Crime report: robbery, stabbing, burglary

Two former tenants, after being involved in two incidents in the McLean area, went to a home at the 3400 block of Holly Street in Seven Corners at about 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 27, where they threatened the homeowner with a gun and demanded property, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. 

Officers found the two suspects driving away in a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro and attempted to stop the car. The driver refused, resulting in a pursuit. 

The driver, Sama Alao, 38, of Falls Church, eventually stopped and was charged with eluding. The passenger, Adedolapo Alao, 37, of Falls Church, was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Another vehicle pursuit incident occurred on Jan. 23, shortly after 1 a.m. on Columbia Pike at Malibu Circle. An officer attempted to stop a 2012 Nissan Sentra for a traffic violation. The driver initially pulled over but then drove away. 

Ely Cruz Chavez, 34, of Alexandria, stopped down the road and was taken into custody. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and speed to elude.  

There was a stabbing on Jan. 23 at about 11 a.m. in the 3000 block of Annandale Road in the Falls Church area of Mason District. A man reported he was stabbed in the upper body by an acquaintance during an argument. The victim was treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life threatening. 

There were three commercial burglaries in Annandale on Jan. 28. Two people broke into the Han Gang restaurant on 7233 Little River Turnpike at 3:15 a.m., took property, and left in an SUV.

Two people forced entry into Kogiya at 4200 Annandale Road at 3:30 a.m. and left in an SUV after taking property, and two people broke into Naz Food at 4231 Markham Street at about 3:40 a.m.
