Crime report: stabbing, domestic violence

Police arrest a man on Evergreen Lane, Annandale.

A 20-year-old Annandale man was charged with malicious wounding and brandishing a firearm in connection with an incident at Fairmont Gardens on Wadsworth court in Annandale on Oct. 2, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. 

The assailant approached the victim, stabbed him, and ran away. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered to be life threatening. The victim knew the man who attacked him. 

On Oct. 6, police responded to a report of two students who brought firearms to the Phillips School, at 7010 Backlick Road in Annandale. No firearms were found. 

Officers responded to the 4300 block of Roberts Avenue in Annandale on Oct. 5 for the report of an assault. They located the suspect, a 28-year-old Falls Church resident, on Evergreen Lane and charged him with simple assault, false identification to law enforcement, and violation of a protective order.
