Driver critically injured in crash

An adult male is in the hospital in a life-threatening condition following a crash in the 3400 block of Carlin Springs Road in Bailey’s Crossroads shortly before 4 p.m. on Nov. 19.

According to Fairfax County Police, the driver of a 2016 BMW was traveling at a high rate of speed toward Leesburg Pike when he struck a bollard and lost control of the vehicle. There were no passengers in the car.

    1. No ill will wished upon them but they are not a victim. This was someone playing with fire and getting burned, and who could have caused tragedy for numerous others.

      1. Yeah, it’s hard to scrape up sympathy when you think of the innocent people who could have been killed by this guy who might’ve walked away without a scratch. It just turned out different this time.

  1. It was really bad. I passed by. It happened around 3:45. They took over an hour to get this guy out the car. Please update us on his condition.
