Early voting for the Virginia primaries underway at satellite locations

Early voting for the Virginia presidential primaries is now underway at 13 locations, including the Mason Government Center and Thomas Jefferson Library. The primaries are March 5.

The satellite voting sites are open 1-7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays. Drop boxes are available at those locations and times for absentee ballots.

Registered voters can choose to vote in the Democratic or Republican primary, not both.

In addition to President Joe Biden, names on the Democratic ballot include Dean Phillips, a congressman from Minnesota, and Marianne Williamson, who suspended her campaign after the ballots were printed.

There are six names on the Republican ballot, although only Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, and Ryan Binkley are still in the race.

  1. The primaries are March 5th. The place is your normal polling location as stated on your voter card. Time is 7-7 (I believe)
