Fairfax County COVID vaccine clinic accepts walk-ins

Beginning Friday, June 11, the
COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Fairfax County Government Center will accept
walk-ins.

While appointments may still
be scheduled ahead of time, the Government Center will offer
first-come, first-served walk-ins during these times:

  • Monday and Thursday – noon-4
    p.m.

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday – 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

The Government Center is at 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax.

All Health Department
vaccination clinics, including the Government Center, will be closed Friday,
June 18, in observance of Juneteenth. They will reopen on June 19.

As of June 10, 49.7 percent of
the Fairfax County population has been fully vaccinated, 59.8 percent had at
least one dose, and 72.2 percent of the population age 18 and up had at least
one dose.

Just six new cases were
reported on June 10. The seven-day percent positivity rate is 1.2 percent.
