Falls Church HS teacher arrested for selling vape cartridges to students
A Falls Church High School teacher, Kaitlyn Cresent, 28, of Alexandria, was arrested for selling vape cartridges to students.
Child Protective Services received a tip about Cresent on Oct. 25.
Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Child Abuse Squad determined that Cresent sold vape cartridges containing nicotine and THS to four students between December 2023 and June 2024.
She was arrested on Dec. 30 and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, distribution of a controlled substance on school property, and distribution of tobacco/hemp to a minor.
Cresent taught students with learning disabilities. She was placed on administrative leave and is no longer employed with Fairfax County Public Schools.
She was held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on a $4,000 bond.
