Fatal, four-vehicle crash on the beltway
There was a fatal crash today shortly after 3 p.m. on the beltway in the northbound lanes approaching Braddock Road, the Virginia State Police reports.
The crash involved four vehicles: a Toyota Tacoma, a Scion XB, a Honda Civic, and a Ford F150. The fatality was in the Scion.
Three people were transported to the hospital, one with serious injuries and two with non-life-threatening injuries.
All of the express lanes and all but two of the main lanes in the area were closed due to the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
This happened today, Monday 21 June? At 3pm. I live a couple of blocks from there off Braddock rd, inside the beltway. I heard sirens but nowhere near enough for that.
