Free Movie Night this Saturday in Annandale
Families are invited to enjoy a free outdoor movie on the lawn at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space this Saturday, July 13, at 8 p.m.
The park is located at 7200 Columbia Pike in central Annandale.
The movie is “Rio,” from 2011. It’s about the adventures of a domesticated macaw who follows the bird of his dreams from Minnesota to Rio de Janeiro.
Bring a blanket and a takeout meal and enjoy free popcorn. Ice cream will be available to purchase.
The weather is expected to be cooler, so it should be a perfect night to enjoy a movie under the stars.
Movie Night is part of a series of events at the Eileen Garnett park hosted by the Community Revitalization Section of Fairfax County’s Department of Planning and Development.
