Free tickets offered for DC Power game

Pablo Amaya, the owner of RAMP Optimal Performance and Wellness in Annandale and an assistant coach for DC United, is now the medical and performance coach for DC Power FC, a professional soccer club for women.
DC Power, now in its second year, is affiliated with DC United and plays in the USL Super League.
Amaya is offering free tickets to 20 local families – eight tickets per family – to the DC Power season opener on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. at Audi Field against the Spokane Zephyr.
To request rickets, contact RAMP at [email protected], 571-574-3382.
RAMP is sponsoring the Taste of Annandale 5K on Sept. 20, 9:30 a.m., at Mason District Park. Register here.
The 5K will be held before the Taste of Annandale festival at Eileen Garnett Civic Space at 10:30 a.m.
Amaya plans to bring DC United and DC Power players to the RAMP booth at the Taste of Annandale. At the event, RAMP will raffle off a DC Power T-shirt signed by all the players.

At RAMP, Amaya is helping young female athletes develop their skills and prepare for playing in college or with the DC Power or another professional sports team.
Amaya is bringing DC Power players to RAMP to mentor young women athletes aspiring to sports careers and help with skills development, conditioning, and injury recovery.
Amaya even helps youths get into college, assisting them with the SATs and talking to college coaches on their behalf. He has already helped 15 young soccer players who work out at RAMP get into Marymount University, Catholic University, UCLA, UVA, and other colleges.
Around eight professional soccer players on the U.S. National Team have trained at RAMP, including Kevin Paredes, who plays for the Bundesliga, a professional soccer league in Germany. Several members of England’s Premier League trained at RAMP during their off-season.
RAMP isn’t just for athletes; the facility provides personalized training for people of all ages and fitness levels.
