Golf tournament is Annandale HS PTSA’s biggest fundraiser

Time to loosen up those drivers, sharpen the wedges, and warm up the putters. Spring is in the air and that means the Annandale High School PTSA’s major fundraiser, the Red and White Golf Classic, is right around the corner, reports Rich Fruchterman, who is co-chairing the event with his wife, Sallie Williams.

The tournament takes place Friday, May 18, at Laurel Hill Golf Club in Lorton. Links magazine named Laurel Hill one of the top 10 municipal golf courses in the country.

You can sign up as a team or as an individual and be matched to a team. In addition to golfers, the organizers are looking for tournament sponsors, donations of items for gift bags and raffles, and advertisers for the tournament program. “Any help will be very much appreciated,” Fruchterman says.
