Good morning, Annandale!

Today’s the day! – The Taste of Annandale starts this morning at 10:30 at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space, 7200 Columbia Pike.

There will be lots of food vendors, live entertainment, alpacas and other critters at the Animaldale petting zoo, carnival games, beer sales, children’s activities, a pet contest, a chili cook-off, an eating contest, and more.

Here are a few more last-minute items:

• Street parking could be tight, so take the dedicated Fairfax Connector shuttle from Annandale High School.
• It’s not too late to join the Taste of Annandale 5K. The race starts at 9:30 a.m. Register onsite at Mason District Park, 6621 Columbia Pike, Annandale. The registration table will be near the tennis courts.
• Unpaid vendors trying to sell things are prohibited.
