Home sale prices in Annandale declining

The median sales prices of homes sold in December 2014 in
Annandale (zip code 22003) was $510,000, a 7.3 percent decline from $550,000 in
December 2013. The average sale price last month was $549,104, down 6.8 percent
from December 2013, reports Coldwell Banker realtor Vivianne Couts.

On the positive side, 34 properties were sold last month, an
increase from the 31 sold in the same month the previous year and up from the 29
properties sold in November 2014. Also, interest rates are extremely low –
under 4 percent in some cases.
