If buyers select the NDI option, the company would build the
3,709 square foot Hastings model on the site. It has four bedrooms, three and a
half bathrooms, a two-story foyer, and large walk-in closets. Standard features
include hardwood floors, granite countertops, and maple cabinets. Buyers could
also select alternative models from NDI.

The sales price includes sewer and water hookups and
permits. The house would be accessible from Gallows Road via a new driveway
parallel to the existing driveway. The property contains a
large old red barn and a smaller barn that could be used as a shed. Construction
would take about nine months from the date of the contract signing.

The existing farmhouse has been renovated and updated over
the years, but needs some work. It has a remodeled kitchen, a large front porch,
and a smaller porch on the second level. The owner had tried to sell the entire
property, unsuccessfully, in 2012 and again in 2014.

I thought blogspot was a source for community news, but this is just a free real estate listing for another developer. Am I missing something?
This is a blog. This is well within blog postings and actually could be considered news to some. I found this interesting when I read this yesterday.
Perhaps you can write the Washington Post and ask them if their horoscopes or Red Velvet Cake recipes are news?
A lot of people were interested to see what would happen at this site. Start your own blog if you don't find every single post to be to your liking.
Now now people, the whole point of this comment section is to provide a "safe space" for cranky people to complain.
That's what made the "Return to Sender" commenter the iconic symbol of this blog.
That commenter channeled the general bitter tone of most of the commenters on this blog, and succinctly conveyed the bitterness in three simple words.
I like the old house instead of some McMansions
I believe the McMansion won't be visible from Gallows. Ed has been trying to hustle that property for years. The "barn" was most likely a tool shed, the real barn and silo came down ?50 yr's? ago. It was a dairy farm.
