ICE agent pulls a gun on a U.S. citizen in Bailey’s Crossroads

A video taken by a woman who was pulled over by ICE in Bailey’s Crossroads on Aug. 10 is going viral.
In the video posted by Carolina Molina on Instagram, an ICE agent with his face covered points a gun at her and yells, “You almost ran us over.”
Molina, a U.S. citizen and mother, yells back, “That’s a lie. You are full of s**t.” She tells them she has a dashcam recording the incident, and they let her go.
The ICE agents did not arrest her, but the Department of Homeland Security later said she could face criminal prosecution.
In a report on the incident on Fox5, Molina said, “In that situation, when you have a gun pointed to your head, everybody reacts differently.”
Molina told reporter Homa Bash she is a licensed professional counselor who does psychological evaluations for lawyers in immigration cases.
She was dropping off her card at several law offices off Columbia Pike at about 3 p.m. when she came across ICE agents attempting to arrest two men. “She rolled down her window and told the agents what they were doing was wrong,” Bash reported.
Molina started to go back to the office she had just left but realized she didn’t want ICE to follow her. She made a U-turn, and that’s when the interaction with ICE happened, Fox5 reports. “It was getting very aggressive very quickly.”
When she pulled out her phone and started recording, Molina said, “That’s when the story changed,” and they accused her of trying to run them over. “I never tried to run you over,” she told them. They threatened to arrest her. “I told them I’m a U.S. citizen and they said it doesn’t matter.”

“I understand how these situations can get so crazy to where people lose their lives,” she told Fox5. “I have kids and a husband and parents and brothers. I’m not going to put myself in a situation like that.”
In response to a media inquiry, the Department of Homeland Security said ICE was conducting targeted immigration enforcement when “an anti-ICE agitator began to drive her car in circles around our ICE officers and then attempted to harm officers by weaponizing her vehicle against them – all in an attempt to help illegal aliens get away.”
“Fearing for their safety, ICE officers conducted a vehicle stop of the driver,” DHS said. “Necessary background information of the driver was taken and she could face criminal prosecution of her actions.”
Rep. Don Beyer, responding to the video, posted on X: “My office has been in contact with the woman who recorded this video of an ICE agent drawing a gun on her. She is a Northern Virginia native and a mother.”
“While I am relieved that she is safe, the habitual dishonesty and dangerous and unjustified escalation seen in this video matches what we have seen from ICE agents across the country,” Beyer stated. “This kind of misconduct and threat of force against members of our communities cannot be tolerated. I will be demanding answers and consequences.”

“They tried to run me over with their car” or “they used their car as a weapon” appears to be the standard lies used by ICE in an effort to both intimidate anyone asking questions or taking pictures and a pretense for shooting someone unjustly. These agents are out of control.
They are trumps brown shirts. It is only going to get worse if no one stops them.
So glad these masked terror squads can lie and say they “feared for their safety” so they can run around actually making people unsafe.
I have to hope the hammer of justice is coming for them when things get less insane in this country.
She shouldn’t have stopped and rolled down her window to yell at the brave ICE Agents risking their lives to keep America safe of criminals. She brought everything upon herself. Don’t feel sorry for her.
Brave? Please. They’re cowards who wear masks.
ICE needs to be abolished.
so George, it’s ok for these masked agents to point a gun at a US citizen??
Yeah, nothing demonstrates bravery as much as covering your face with a balaclava so you can’t be easily identified, then bald-faced lying about imminent harm to justify brandishing arms at somebody who’s exercising their 1A rights. Maybe he can cite a bone spur flare-up to further demonstrate his bravery.
Said the federal cop!!
Yep, nothing says bravery like a commenter hiding behind a pseudonym so you can’t be easily identified. Right Ffx Co Taxpayer?
oK, SRG, why don’t you tell us your full name? Oh, you don’t want to be harassed for your opinion? What if the harassers have a habit of brandishing weapons and lying about it, or, you know, killing citizens?
Ooooo clever. Not afraid of them. It’s your ilk that terrifies me.
I think citizens actually need a better way to engage that reflects the fact that they are stopping to comment or protest. A drive by yelling isn’t very effective and it seemed she wasn’t interested in doing any more than a drive by cursing. What’s the point? I’d like to know more about what ICE was up to in that area, since ICE hasn’t let up in its work.
And you’re not defending the actions of the gun wielding brown shirts, right? Because the first amendment protects her right to insult them, right? Cool… so we’re in agreement that there’s no equivalence to insulting someone and pointing a gun at an unarmed citizen, right?
Take off the mask, you cosplayjng coward!
Cosplaying coward. Cute, but to paraphrase Rooster Cogburn, that’s bold talk for someone hiding behind a pseudonym.
Yours truly, SRG.
Both ‘sides’ of this conflict were being foolish.
No. Pulling a gun on a woman and lying about why you’re doing it is not equivalent to insulting someone.
I didn’t say they were the same, I said both of them made poor decisions.
Three of four murders in Fairfax this year were by illegals wanted by ICE. Your officials wouldn’t honor the detainers. People died thanks to you and Ms Molina.
In 2024, before the elections, there was a bipartisan immigration reform bill ready and likely to be passed in Congress. Trump, who was NOT in office at the time, publicly told Republicans to kill the bill, which they did obediently. Since then, he’s ranted about Democrats doing nothing about immigration, and has sent masked goons into cities all around the nation. They’ve arrested and deported to any country that would take them and without the due process guaranteed to ANY person on U.S. soil, non-violent criminals (contrary to his promise to only remove “the worst of the worst”), non-criminals, people standing in line to renew their visas or continue the naturalization process, refugees of war, children, and actual American citizens, including NATIVE Americans.
Some of those not immediately shipped out have been shuttled off to detainment camps and subjected to inhumane treatment, in some instances dying in custody or being released on the brink of death so ICE won’t be called out for having killed yet another person. Yes, some of them have died in as little as three days. One young refugee with no way home was even left out in Pittsburgh’s freezing February cold wearing summer clothing. She died from hypothermia before she could get a hearing.
This isn’t partisan whining. International human rights groups can tell this isn’t right. For example, the Human Rights Tracker scores us as 3.7 out of 10 in re: safety from the state, ranking us with or even below full-blown authoritarian nations like North Korea and those Donald has called “s-hole countries.” Happy semiquincentennial, everyone.
What’s the name and number of the bill and what exact session? Why no link?
She should mind her own business. Not interfere with the activities of any law enforcement officers or even private citizens.
First amendment be damned! Supplicate and obey! I’m so with you. /s
Many of those with no criminal record have been here for decades —well before Biden — contributing to our communities in countless ways, paying taxes, caring for our sick and elderly , building our houses, landscaping our homes, serving us in restaurants and hotels, etc. NO ONE objects to “the worst of the worst” being detained and deported. But even then, there should be a process that includes identifying them properly. What is happening to law-abiding refugees seeking asylum is unconscionable, inhumane, heart wrenching for anyone who can empathize with immigrants who desperately sought to secure the safety and well-being of their children. Waiting to come legally, given the horrific immigration policies and waiting times for asylum hearings (fixable), is it any wonder families have risked everything to enable their children to enjoy the blessings we take for granted?
So I’m clear, follow some of the law, but not all of it? That’s a cool idea. We should all follow laws that we agree with.
They have no criminal record because they haven’t been caught and charged. Logic is not your strong suit.
At 6:40 a.m. I was buying coffee before heading downtown. I felt weird. Dunkin’ donuts is 61 38 Arlington boulevard and that’s where it was.
A woman in a bright blue shirt entered the donut shop and met with another woman there also wearing a bright blue shirt.
The one who was already in the shop moved over to the line where there were two men waiting in line for coffee and donuts or at least you would think they were
When the one who was already in the shop said quote they’re working on the roof so the cameras are off go go go, and that’s the end of the quote, the two men jumped over the counter
Instantly the one who had walked into the shop the woman who had walked into the shop guided the staff into the back that’s three employees two of them are my very best friends and one of whom is known to me as an honest hard-working person just like the other two who happened to own the shop at least I think they do
Gee I wonder if I could find a point in all this
It’s a rough time of year and a rough time of century to be an immigrant
Let’s not forget we all are
Extracarriage return
What I saw was a coordinated infrastructure attack disabling not only the cameras using a roof disruption but apparently I found out later also the Wi-Fi because I’ve got the bleeping hell out of there as fast as I could without being disruptive or getting shot because that can happen
I went to the bus stop and immediately tried to get Wi-Fi to make an emergency call but I couldn’t. I know the Wi-Fi availability in that area like the palm of my hand and Duncan was down it was SSID nothing if you know what I mean it was not broadcasting and they didn’t just hide it it was off you couldn’t find it if you needed it and I needed it bad
So I took my phone which has no SIM in it and dialed 911 to report what had happened and had a calm conversation with the dispatcher generating event number e 262240633 under 911, available for you to ask for at 703-691-2131 if you’re interested where you will probably be told an f o i a will recover all available information like who responded when they responded who they encountered what happened and whether any arrests were made
Unless the report is it let’s just say amenable to falsification and be done with it
Cheers anyhow
What on God’s green earth are you blathering about?
Bad things happen when one violates the law. Immigrant or otherwise.
My ancestors were legal, law abiding immigrants. It can be done.
Her dashcam footage shows no reason to stop her.
ICE would rather terrorize innocent people than go to therapy.

Has the masked man been identified yet? He needs to be tracked/monitored every day from the time he puts on his gear to the time he takes it off, to ensure compliance with the law.
These pussies are a bunch of ex-high school football players who weren’t good enough to play in college.
