Impact Roofing moves into former hair salon

Impact Roofing has taken over the building formerly occupied by Kiara Dominican Hairstyle at 7228 Columbia Pike in Annandale.

Kiara moved to an office park at 5103-D Backlick Road in Annandale in November. The salon specializes in curly hair, but also does blowouts, haircutting, coloring, and styling for all types of hair.

Impact Roofing is keeping its current space in an office building at 7242 Columbia Pike behind an Ethiopian church.

The company needed more room for parking its trucks and for storage, said owner Mason Arthur, who founded Impact in 2016.

In addition to roofing, Impact does exterior renovations and siding. The company is a certified installer for James Hardie Siding, Owens Corning (shingles and insulation), CertainTeed (roofing shingles and panels), and TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) roofing membranes by Firestone and Bridgestone. As a result, customers get manufacturer warranties.
