Incheon has closed

Incheon was favorably reviewed by restaurant critics.

Incheon, the acclaimed, creative Korean restaurant in Annandale, has closed its doors permanently.

The restaurant opened in 2021 at 7118 Columbia Pike next to Subway.

Named for a city in Korea, the restaurant offered international, as well as Korean, dishes.

Northern Virginia Magazine named Incheon one of the best restaurants in Northern Virginia in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

“I am proud of what we have all achieved,” owner and chef Justin Ahn wrote on Instagram. “I want to thank my family, friends, teammates, colleagues, and guests who have supported me and my vision on this journey. While arduous at times, the past four years have been very gratifying. Incheon has been a success because of all of you.”

Ahn and his partner, chef Alex McCoy, are opening Alfie’s, a Thai restaurant, in Georgetown in early 2026.

    1. Sorry to learn about the closure. We appreciated the innovative cuisine, the quality of the food, and the friendly staff at Incheon. Wishing Mr. Ahn and Mr. McCoy the best with their new venture. Annandale’s loss is Georgetown’s gain.

  1. I would love to see a Panera or something similar go in there. There are just not enough non-Korean restaurant choices in this area.
