Jersey Mike’s Subs to open Sept. 20

Jersey Mike’s Subs is holding a grand opening and fundraiser at its Annandale location, at 7042 Little River Turnpike, on Wednesday, Sept. 20-Sunday, Sept. 24.

Customers who receive a special fundraising coupon distributed through a grassroots effort before the opening can make a minimum $2 contribution to the Annandale Boys & Girls Club in exchange for a regular sub. 

“We are excited to bring Jersey Mike’s Subs to Annandale and to support the Annandale Boys & Girls Club,” said franchise owner Pat Foley. The ABGC has been providing sports access to boys and girls in the area for over 60 years.

Jersey Mike’s Subs features submarine sandwiches made with freshly sliced meat, fresh vegetables, and cheese on bread baked in the store and topped with a red wine vinegar and olive oil blend. It also has freshly grilled cheesesteaks.

The Annandale store will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. seven days a week.

Customers can place orders for pickup through the website or through the Jersey Mike’s app. Curbside pickup and delivery is available for orders placed through the app.

The first Jersey Mike’s opened in 1956 in New Jersey. The chain now has more than 2,600 locations.

The company supports a culture of giving. Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country raised more than $110 million for local charities.
