JJ Salon & Barber reopens in Annandale

After the building housing JJ Salon & Barber on Columbia Pike was destroyed by a fire in March 2023, the owners rented space in two other salons while they tried to find a place of their own.

Earlier this month, the owners, Jenny and Joey Lee, reopened JJ Salon & Barber in an office condo at 6922 Little River Turnpike, Suite 5, in Annandale.

The space has been totally renovated. “We’re really proud of what we were able to do with it,” says their son, Joon Lee.

Jenny specializes in hairstyling, coloring, perms, and the like, and Joey does the barbering. Joon helps out with running the business.

“We want people to know about the new location,” Joon says. “We’re grateful our current clients came to our rental space and that, with the new place, we’re able to continue to serve the community and stay local.”

JJ Salon & Barber is open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Appointments are strongly encouraged. To make an appointment, call 703-941-5566.
