encouraged to join the 2013 Spring Culmore Cleanup Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon.
This semi-annual event
has been going on for more than 10 years. It’s a huge collaborative effort that
brings together teams from many organizations and companies, as well as
individual volunteers, who not only pick up trash and other debris around Bailey’s Crossroads
and Seven Corners, but educate the public about the importance of keeping communities litter-free and instilling civic pride.

Volunteers should check
in at the Woodrow Wilson Library, 6101 Knollwood Drive, Falls Church, to pick
up trash bags, t-shirts, and gloves—and enjoy coffee and light refreshments before
heading off to work.
