Volunteers are hoping to rescue as many trees as possible during the Spring Tree Rescue Extravaganza March 21-April 12.

Community members are invited to join the effort, which is hosted by Fairfax Tree Rescuers PRISM (Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management).

Enjoy a spring day outdoors and get some fresh air while protecting native trees from being strangled by invasive vines.

If you have them, bring clippers, loppers, or small saws. If you don’t, most event leaders will have some extra tools you can borrow.
