Labor Day closures

Most county facilities will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1, for Labor Day. Here’s the schedule:

Fairfax County offices – closed.

Public schools – closed.

Voting for the 11th Congressional District special election – closed.

Park Authority rec centers – open 5 a.m.-6 p.m.

Green Spring Gardens Horticultural Center and Historic House – closed.

Libraries – closed.

Trash and recycling – County services will operate on the regular schedule.

Circuit Court, General District Court, and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court – closed.

Fairfax Connector – Some routes will operate on a Saturday schedule.

Metrobus – Sunday schedule.

Metrorail – Weekend schedule, 6 a.m.-midnight. Orange and Silver line trains will operate every 12 minutes and every 15 minutes after 9:30 p.m.
