On Aug. 16, it’s “Last Call at The Block,” featuring Arylia, DJ Knom, and DJ Adobo, 10 p.m.-2 a.m.

  1. It’s unfortunate that the Board of Supervisors concentrates new multifamily housing in areas assigned to schools like Annandale HS that haven’t seen a lot of investment from the FCPS School Board in recent years. Sure, they can redistrict, but that’s what contributed substantially to the increasing concentration of poverty at AHS. And it’s not just Annandale that gets slammed by the mismatch between the decisions of the BOS and the inaction of the SB.

  2. The block is the reason I make the trip to come to annadale/ktown. Allof those spots actually. This highly dis agree with this but I see the decisions have been made. How terrible.
