Let’s clean up Annandale!

How about doing something for your community while getting a little exercise?
The Annandale Rotary Club and the Annandale-Mason Roundtable invite residents to join a community cleanup in Annandale on Saturday, April 12, 12-2 p.m.
Volunteers should meet at 7213 Columbia Pike, the site where a building damaged in a fire is expected to be torn down. The cleanup event will focus on picking up litter along Annandale’s main roads. Clean Fairfax will provide trash bags and gloves.
Students who participate can earn community service hours.
The Annandale Rotary Club has long spearheaded community improvement efforts. The junior Rotary Clubs it sponsors at Annandale High School, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, and Northern Virginia Community College’s Annandale campus will participate in the cleanup, along with Boy Scout Troop 150.
The Annandale-Mason Roundtable’s sole project has been organizing the annual Taste of Annandale. The group is now expanding its activities to include additional community projects.
The roundtable invites residents to a Taste of Annandale Happy Hour on April 16, 6-8 p.m., at the Cue Club Café, 7016 Columbia Pike, Annandale.
This is awesome! Cleaning up and building up our community 🙂
