Man arrested for fatal hit-and-run crash

Police arrested the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash in Seven Corners that resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Seven Corners on May 26.

Jose Jimenez, 60, of Falls Church, was crossing Arlington Boulevard at Patrick Henry Drive within the crosswalk, but against the pedestrian signal, when he was struck by a 2004 silver Honda Civic sedan traveling eastbound on Arlington Boulevard.

The Civic left the scene before police arrived. Jimenez was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

On June 28, Hein Quang Le, 63, of Arlington, turned himself in at the Mason Police Station, where he was interviewed by detectives. He was transported to the Adult Detention Center and was charged with Felony Hit and Run. He was held on no bond.
