Man shot at a bar in Bailey’s Crossroads

Updated May 1: A man was shot at the Black Rose Lounge in Bailey’s Crossroads shortly after 1 a.m. on April 30, according to a report by FFXnow.
Police responded to the nightclub at 5815 Seminary Road for a report of shots fired. When police arrived, they found the victim had gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Police told FFXnow that, based on a preliminary investigation, the man was shot by another man during an argument outside the Black Rose. So far, no one has been arrested.
According to an update from the Fairfax County Police Department, the suspect fled before police arrived. He is described as Black with a skinny build, long dreadlocks, blue jeans, and a black jacket.
Due to a large crowd that gathered following the shooting, Virginia State Police, the Arlington County Police Department, and the Alexandria City Police Department responded to assist.
The lounge and hookah bar hosts live music and serves Ethiopian and American food.
Shut this place down this is the 2nd time a shooting at this place. Many living in this area are not feeling safe.
Nobody was shot at a bar in Bailey’s Crossroads. Apparently the reporter is unaware that the Commonwealth of Virginia does not have bars. Bars are illegal in this state. (There are RESTAURANTS that have an ABC license. They are audited by the state on every sale at the establishment. They are required to be primarily selling food. If the revenue ratio is above a certain percent — more alcohol than food — they lose their license and someone is going to prison. There are no bars in Virginia.
