Man shot outside restaurant at Landmark Plaza

There was a shooting just after 9:30 p.m. Oct. 19
in the parking lot in front of the Viva Tequila restaurant at 6244 Little River
Turnpike in Landmark Plaza, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had
been shot in the leg. They applied two tourniquets and the man was taken to a
nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, later upgraded to non-life threatening.

An initial investigation shows the shooting victim
and friends had been thrown out of Viva Tequila, according to the
FCPD
. The situation escalated in the parking lot, and a security guard
shot the man. Initially the security guard left the scene, but returned shortly
after.

Once an investigation is complete, detectives will
present their findings to the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney to determine
if charges will be placed.

  1. I don't think there is a dumpster big enough to get rid of all the garbage in Mason District. Thank you Supervisor Gross.

  2. Amen to that — let's get rid of her. I cannot believe this woman has caused such damage to the Mason District. Every other place is Fairfax County is thriving and the value of the homes have increased — every place that doesn't have Penny Gross as supervisor. What a disgrace.
