Middle Eastern restaurant coming to Seven Corners

Hamza & Madina Halal Food, a fast-casual restaurant, is coming to the former Pizza Hut spot at the Seven Corners Center on Leesburg Pike.

Franchise owner Idris Mashriqi hopes to open before Christmas.

The menu will feature chicken platters, lamb platters, gyro platters, kofta platters, sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks, salads, desserts, and more.

The restaurant is designed for takeout orders and will have minimal seating.

Mashriqi started with a food cart in Queens, New York, about 10 years ago and now runs 10 Hamza & Madina restaurants in New York and New Jersey.
