New homes for sale in Annandale
Three new houses developed by Evergreene Homes at the corner of Little River Turnpike and Lee Place in Annandale are listed at $1.649,500 to $1,774,500.
The three-house development, called Wakefield Grove, was built on the site of a single-family home. The first open house was held on Jan. 6.
All have six bedrooms. The smallest one has six and a half bathrooms. The others have five and a half bathrooms.
The most expensive home is 5,896 square feet. It has a large rain shower and pedestal tub in the owner’s bathroom, two big walk-in closets in the owner’s suite, a mud room with built-in shelves, a stone fireplace in the living room, and an open kitchen with a large island. The lower level has a finished rec room, media room, bedroom, and bathroom.

The gentrification of Annandale is in process. People just don’t realize it

My family has live in Annandale for more than 70 years, so I can tell you with some authority that Annandale is not being gentrified. Neighborhoods that have housed low-income residents did not start out as such. That their value has returned benefits everyone in the area but particularly the long-term residents who either have or intend to grow roots here.
The site work and impact on runoff from the lot has created a significant water pooling issue/lack of drainage on the eastbound lane of 236 closest to the property. Last weekend’s rain resulted in 4 -5 in of standing water that was at least 40 sq ft in size. Be careful driving eastbound in rainy weather!
It was a one single family home before. This arguably makes it more accessible, but the price is definitely steep

That’s a beautiful shower area – but- how long will it take to clean and how often are you going to have to clean that to keep it looking pristine…..give me a RV size shower anytime!
