New restaurant coming to Barcroft Plaza
A vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant called Chay’s is coming to a long-vacant storefront in Barcroft Plaza. The restaurant, at 6351 Columbia Pike, is next to Jake’s Ice Cream.

I’m sure this place will have a slow 6 months before closing down
I look forward to trying it and I have a vegetarian friend who lives near there who will be overjoyed. We need more decent options around here. Everything is so meat-heavy.
