The renovation of the old Brault building on the corner of Little River Turnpike and Wakefield Chapel Road on the Annandale campus of Northern Virginia Community College is expected to be completed Sept. 1, 2015.
The NVCC staff members displaced by the renovation project are slated to move into their new offices in January 2016. The occupants of the Brault building, including NVCC President Robert Templin Jr., have been working in leased offices on Pender Driver in Fairfax.
Other NVCC officials in the Brault Building include the executive vice president, vice president of finance, vice president of administrative services, vice president of workforce development and chief of police and the offices of emergency management, academic services, global studies, enrollment, institutional advancement, institutional research, information technology, and the educational foundation.
The building is named for Adelard L. “Abe” Brault, who
represented Northern Virginia in the state senate for 18 years and helped
secure funding for NVCC. He died at age 97 in 2007.
