O’my ChiQ & Bar to open next month

O’my ChiQ & Bar is expected to open in late September at 7023 Columbia Pike in Annandale. A patio is under construction.

The restaurant will specialize in rotisserie, grilled, and barbecue chicken and barbecue ribs, says the future manager, who now works at Omy Hot Pot on Annandale Road. It is being developed by the owner of Omy Hot Pot.

O’my ChiQ will have a full bar, with draft beers and cocktails, and bar food, such as fries, onion rings, and wings. The hours haven’t been set, but the restaurant will probably be open for lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks.

The restaurant is going into the building formerly occupied by Dice Burger. The building has been empty since Dice Burger closed in fall 2020.

    1. Agreed, not too many good casual options that are not unhealthy, hope the grilled/rotisserie chicken here is good!

  1. How many chicken joints can you have in 1/4 sq mile? It appears endless amounts. I wish them good luck but I long for the day that the FULL SEVICE STATION returns. The owners were honest and knew cars. It’ll never happen but sometimes wishes do come true.

    1. Hi Vince, I still remember you since you are one of my best customers and thank you much for the business!
Hopefully this new restaurant will do good after the shell station closed, looking forward to try this new restaurant!
      God bless!!

  2. No vision for the community. Just petty and ethnic restaurants that keep opening and closing. Residents and government officials have little vision and little expectation for the community……the tragedy of being small minded!

  4. I was hoping a fun restaurant would replace the vacant Dice Burger (which I liked)! Really looking forward to this because Oh My Hot Pot is delicious!

  5. My family always used to joke about how Dice Burger managed to stick around when we never saw a car in the lot.
