Covering Annandale, Bailey's Crossroads, Lincolnia, and Seven Corners in Fairfax County, Virginia

Parking restrictions proposed for Camelot and nearby streets

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors on Sept. 9
authorized a public hearing on the creation of a proposed “Inova Woodburn
Temporary Residential Parking Permit District” in Annandale. The hearing is Oct. 7, 4 p.m., at the Fairfax County Government Center.

Residents of the affected area, which includes part of the
Camelot neighborhood, say the restrictions are needed to prevent construction
workers on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus expansion project from parking on
their streets.

The temporary RPPD would cover Bannerwood Court, parts of
Bannerwood Drive, Bedivere Court, Collins Street, Gale Street, Garlot Drive,
parts of Holly Road, parts of King Arthur Road, the West side of Luttrell Road,
and Pellinore Place.
People would need a permit or visitor pass to park in the
affected area 5 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
