Pizza place to open in Bailey’s Crossroads
A new pizza shop, called Forni, is coming to Bailey’s Crossroads, at the corner of Seminary Road and Scoville Street.
The owner, Amine Eddine, is planning an Oct. 15 opening.
Forni will offer individual artisan pizzas, panini, and juice, all made with fresh ingredients, he says. The dough will be made in-house, and there will be gluten-free and vegan options.
Eddine also owns the hookah lounge, Le Jardin, next door and the Taza shawarma and falafel restaurant at 5820-0 Seminary Road.
The building being renovated on the other side of Le Jardin at 5606 Scoville Street is slated to become a grocery/food store, according to permits filed with Fairfax County.
Sounds like a nice addition to the neighborhood.
Totally agree. These new additions are definitely improving the neighborhood.
Come on…..these mom and pops (non-mainstream establishments) are here today, gone tomorrow and they do not represent the greater community. Have some vision and attract more mainstream establishments.
K: Mainstream means homogeneous and neighborhoods lose all their personality when there’s nothing but chain stores & restaurants.
