Police responded to a report of a brandishing incident in the 7300 block of Englewood Place at about 8:30 p.m., the FCPD reports.

Officers learned that one of the occupants invited multiple people over. A dispute arose and one of the suspects, Kerin Santos Gutierrez, 19, displayed a firearm, then threatened to shoot him.

Neighboring homes were evacuated until all suspects exited.

    1. Well you guys should be looking at the person who invited these people in their apartments. Supposedly all suspects, including juveniles under age were invited to the home to hang out. Then when they change their mind told them to leave, they wouldn’t leave to be honest with you, the people who invited the people into their home are more of suspect !

I also hear there was a young girl under age that was one of the juveniles, and there was only one girl we

  1. I dont feel safe if they are out. I live in the same apartment. They should stay in jail.

That’s my opinion. It was scary and I was up all night worrying. Police should do better

    1. Stay in jail for trespassing is crazy. You feared for your life because there was trespassers. The things that go on in this world a far more dangerous. Imagine what the people who live on Richmond Hwy went through when a woman with a gun had a stand of for several days in the middle of the road. Or when the police shot a man who stole a uhaul truck and tried to steal police car while dragging an officer at gas station. Both incidents happened right outside of people’s homes. But you want people to stay in Jail for trespassing. Let’s be realistic now.

      1. You know nothing about that kid he’s a degenerate little scum who constantly breaks the law I knew him in school constant problem starter and assaulter police should do better and lock his ass and all his friends up all those dudes are losers and a threat

        1. “Breaks the law” is vague….. doesnt seem like they did anything to you personally soooooo who cares, mind your own business and let them mind theirs. Hope they are freed and able to hang out again. Because that’s all they were doing is hanging out.

      2. No, they should stay in jail because they constantly break the law and have no respect for the community around them they should lock all of them up it ain’t the first time they’ve ran into the law if you know who they are.

    2. What were they doing? Just hanging out? Had a gun….So what? Doesn’t seem like they did anything wrong. Yall Karens need to stop being so scared of nothing

  2. Thankfully the police were able to respond & hopefully the commonwealth attorney will quickly pursue justice in obtaining convictions and jail for those found guilty (not some alternative to detention approach). I’m also grateful that we still have the 2nd amendment, to protect ourselves, our family and our homes. With the increasing violence and crime, combined with lacking prosecution from the commonwealth attorney, plus misguided Board of Supervisors priorities – it’s becoming clear that good and responsible people have to protect themselves and can’t rely on the county government to do their #1 job ensuring public safety from criminals.

      1. 2nd amendment is not for felons. Unless they get their rights back which is very difficult to do.

      2. You’re correct Jack. The 2nd amendment is an anachronism. Law abiding citizens should not be allowed, and should not want to, possess firearms.

Only 19-year old previously convicted felons known on the street as “Crazy” (rumor is that it’s a term of endearment) who do not comply with the law; and heavily armed law enforcement personnel; should be allowed to possess firearms.

Because logically that will work out well.

  3. Mr Akram what would have the police do better. Why aren’t our residents doing better. This isn’t the Wild West where everyone carries a gun. The police have to consider everyone’s lives in these situations. They evacuated including you, and you are safe and no one was hurt. So again I ask what would you have the police do differently?

    1. Come on now. It’s obvious what the L&O types want in this situation. Its what they always want, and arguably the only thing they want from Government ever.

They want the bad guys shot dead. They want a black and white world where bad guys get whatever they have coming and where the good guys can do no wrong in delivering swift and lethal justice. They want the police to be judge, jury, and Executioner. So long as the police are brutal. The moment the police start thinking that anything other than abject and total violence is worth a shot, then the police are coddling the animals.

      1. I’m a L&O guy because I have kids who I love and who keep getting harassed by these scum.
But I certainly don’t want the scum executed. I want them to modify their behavior so they don’t decrease the quality of everyone’s lives around them. I think the government should do a better job and letting them all go free with no punishment is as extreme as the police “executing” them. It’s just on the other end of the sliding scale.

In reality we are much closer to your preferred model (let them all go) than we are to my preferred model (harsher penalties).

The “execute them” model is a lie and hyperbole that you made up to discredit our model because your model is failing miserably right before everyone’s eyes, and you feel embarrassed and stupid, as you should.

        1. Nonsense. We have the most incarcerated people on the planet, both in total and per capita.

And despite what fox news is telling you, the sky isn’t falling and no one is advocating to let them all go free.

Fairfax county is one of the most desirable places to live in America. Property values are through the roof, businesses are moving in, and more housing is being built. Sure doesn’t seem like urban wasteland foxtards want to make it out to be.

  4. Jesus man how many times is this jack gonna get arrested before he gets put away what’s wrong with fairfax police man lock all these idiots up yo cause his friends are all the same I knew this bum from school he’s always been this way… parents never had control over his degenerate self.
